Abandoned by God / Loved by God

Posted: 29 March 2018

Easter is a Christian holiday. It's not just a holiday to enjoy some time out in God's world, it's a holy day (special day) to enjoy the salvation and life Jesus won for us by dying and rising to life.

This Easter we've got an amazing Friday and Sunday planned with hot cross buns, live jazz, even a night out at The Soda Factory.

I would like would encourage you to make it along on both days, or if you are away, to get along to a local church to worship our saviour.

On Good Friday I'll be speaking from Psalm 22 about the feeling of being abandoned by God.

On Easter Sunday I'll be speaking from John 11, and the certain hope Jesus offers us when faced with death.

Both messages are designed to encourage you and speak to friends and family who might be far from God. So take the opportunity now to invite them along.
