For God’s Glory Alone

Posted: 26 May 2017

“The one essential condition of human existence is that man should always be able to bow down before something infinitely great." (Fyodor Dostoevsky)

This Sunday we're wrapping up our series on The Essentials — the key teachings of Christianity — by looking at the overall goal of God in salvation: his own glory!

When we speak of God doing something for his own glory, it might sound selfish of God. If humans do something for their own glory, we say they're proud and narcissistic. Is this then also true of God? That's what we're looking at this Sunday.

Finally, don't miss out on registering for Guess Who's Coming for Dinner. It's a great opportunity to meet new people and get to know others at church.
