Jesus impact on ethnic diversity

Posted: 25 October 2013

This week I have been reading some of the history of the mistreatment of indigenous Australians. Yes I was taught about invasion and genocide in year 7 history, but maybe I was too young because looking back I was numb to the tragic events I was taught.

This Sunday is the final in our series, The Impact of Jesus on History, and we are looking at Jesus impact on ethnic diversity. This will show, of all the areas we are looking at, a very mixed impact of Christians on history. But as I've said, we are not looking at the impact of Christians but the impact of Jesus on history. So did he have a positive impact on the racism in Australia during of the 19-20th centuries?

Come and explore this on Sunday.
