Weekend Away Reflection

Posted: 29 March 2017

There's something profoundly moving about seeing community deepening, friendships formed, and God's people sitting under His word. This past weekend, Vine Church + St Michael's had the opportunity to head to Collaroy for our annual Weekend Away where over 170 people gathered for what was an exciting and encouraging time.

Sessions were spent hearing stories of how God has been working in people's lives, singing together, and diving into the book of Hebrews. Between sessions there was plenty of fun being had by the beach, at cafés, around the dining room tables and on the volleyball court.

Our biggest ever Weekend Away is finished for another year, but the challenge to live authentic, Jesus-centred lives goes on. A special thanks to Alexis Linton and the crew for all of the hard work they put in to making this an incredible few days. Keep your ear to the ground for next year's because you really don't want to miss it!

We'd love it if you could let us know what you loved and what we could improve for next year here.
