We spend our lives building something—our careers, our reputation, our comfort, our future. But what if God is building something far greater?

Nehemiah tells the story of God restoring his people after exile. While the rebuilding of Jerusalem’s walls sits at the heart of the story, the book is about far more than construction. It’s about God’s faithfulness to his promises, his rule over kings and nations, and his commitment to dwell with his people.

As we trace this story—and the bigger story of the Bible—we’ll discover how it all points to Jesus, who is still gathering and building his people today. So let’s roll up our sleeves and join in what God is building.
