We are living in an age of fragmentation.

Loneliness and anxiety are worldwide epidemics; tensions fester between different social tribes; our sense of belonging is temporary and shallow; we feel adrift amidst the constant churning of relationships and jobs; hyper-mobility leaves us giddy with choice; hyper-connectivity crowds our minds with static; our sense of self ever shape-shifts and we struggle to find our true self; we're constantly seeking out the next life upgrade.

Our city needs Jesus! We need the life-changing connection he brings. This is what the future of Vine Church is about. People connected to the life, love and freedom Jesus offers. Join us as we set our vision for the next year and beyond.

What's on during Connect?

Connect Dinners

As we embark on our building renewal, we want to start with community and prayer. Across October and November there are 35 Connect dinners happening across our church. These dinners are all about spending time together, and finding out more about the project. If you haven't been invited to a Connect dinner and you would like to attend, please contact us here

Q&A Events

There are three Q&A events happening to give you an opportunity to find out more about our Connect building renewal and get your questions answered! These events are a great chance to hear from parish council, key ministry leaders and architects who have been involved in the process. Rachel Neeson from Neeson Murcutt Architects will be attending the first two Q&A events. There will be an opportunity to submit questions beforehand, and ask on the day! We would love you to join us.

Please register here for Q&A Events for catering purposes.

Q&A 1: Sunday, 27 October (12.30pm) with childcare provided onsite

Q&A 2: Monday, 28 October (7pm)

Q&A 3: Thursday, 7 November (7pm)

Each event includes a light lunch or dinner, and everyone is welcome. We'd love you to join us!

Week of Prayer

Our God is the one who made the earth and sustains everything in it! We want to be dependant on him, and bring our plans and hopes and dreams before Him. We want to be praying for our community as we think about our future.

From Monday, 11 November – Friday, 15 November Vine Church will be hosting prayer meetings across the CBD and Surry Hills each day. We'd love you to join us before or after work, to be bringing each day before God.
