God Loves You

The Beatles said
but then they broke up.

Love is the thing we all know we need. And yet love is the thing we struggle so much to get right. It is a vague and often overused term; sentimental and squishy. It is rarely strong and enduring. God is love. There can be few more famous statements in the Bible, and few more wonderful. And by this statement, we don’t mean God is squishy and sentimental, but that he’s willing to pay whatever it costs to look after those he sets his heart upon. We need a bigger picture of God’s love — the height, the depth, the width and the breadth of God’s love — especially as it relates to his authority, his jealousy, his anger, his heart and his promises.

Join us over June – July as we explore how God’s love is more than a cliche.
