It’s a chance to reconnect, re-establish the foundation and rekindle romance. There is time to spend reflecting on God’s vision for marriage, and learning or refreshing skills that will help build a marriage that lasts a lifetime.

What to expect?
The day will be led by Toby and Liz Neal. Married for over 22 years, Toby and Liz have had the joy of helping over 46 engaged couples prepare for marriage. They will be sharing personally from their own journey, expanding on the material they use in relationship counselling, and introducing proven, practical exercises from The Gottman Institute.
There won’t be any awkward group sharing. Instead, you will be given ample private time with your partner to focus on:
- Deepening Connection: Learning more about each other and growing in true intimacy.
- Managing Conflict: Nurturing seeds of love while pulling out the weeds of anger and frustration.
- Future-Proofing: Building healthy habits to sustain your love through all the changing seasons of life.
Everyone is welcome! This event is open to all couples, both inside and outside our church community. Our goal is simply to help marriages thrive. These sessions offer a healthy blend of research-backed, real-world skills and timeless Biblical wisdom. You don’t need to share our faith to attend or benefit; the environment is completely relaxed, and the tools are practical for everyone.
