Why go away for the weekend?
At Vine Church we believe life is best lived in community and one Weekend Away is worth 40 Sundays of relational time.
Our hope is that at each Weekend away you will have the opportunity to:
- Grow in community Enjoy a weekend away with Vine Church family, getting to know and encouraging each other.
- Learn from the Bible We want to grow in our understanding of God's word and have opportunity for deep reflection to apply it to our lives.
- Relax in creation We'll have a balanced program with sessions and free time to help you focus on Jesus and rest and recharge.
In 2027, we’re taking our All-In Weekend Away to the next level. We’ll still gather as one church family, but this year each congregation will have its own dedicated stream—giving you more time to connect with the people you see each Sunday, while enjoying all the benefits of heading away together.

The Deluxe Cabins are triple-share for those seeking to share with less people.

Hotel
Hotel accommodation offers spacious, comfortable rooms with beautiful ocean or garden views. Each room features two king single beds, coffee and tea facilities, a TV, a mini fridge, air conditioning, an iron and ironing board, an outdoor balcony, and an ensuite with towels and toiletries.

We would love you to register as soon as rego opens for your congregations’ weekend away, so that you don’t miss out. More than that, we’d love to cater for you well! Feel free to reach out with your questions and get them answered.
If you have kids, we’d love to make sure that there are more than enough leaders to provide a safe & fun kids program. We’re also keen to ensure that we can give you a room that suits you and your family’s needs.
Every year we have people who would love to come on the weekend away, but aren’t able to afford it. We have put aside subsidies to make this possible, and some people have already got in touch about them which is great! Please don’t be nervous about approaching us, we would love to chat to you about them. Dave Thompson (dave@vinechurch.com.au) is the best person to talk to.
The weekend away is designed to be great from start to finish so we encourage you to come for the whole thing if we can. After early bird registrations close, day tickets and other accomodation options (if available) will be released. Please get in touch if you have more questions.
Friday night will be a chilled and relaxed night. We know that not everyone will be able to make it at 6pm or 7pm so please join us when you are able. Please have dinner before you arrive (or bring it with you). There are lots of good options on your way to Collaroy
YES! Just like our Sunday gatherings, we will have a great kids + youth program running throughout the weekend away, during most sessions. We’ve tried to keep the price very low for kids and youth, to make the weekend more affordable.
YES! The venues we choose are very skilled at accommodating for different dietary needs. Please notify us in the registration form and we will ensure that is communicated to the venue.
The details of the schedule are still being worked out. However you can expect time praying together, praising in song, interviews and testimonies, opening the bible, hearing from God’s word and enjoying meals together.
In addition we’ll have some time and activities to help you connect with others, like Free Time Activities, Saturday Night Compulsory Fun etc. You’ll also get to enjoy the beautiful site and its surrounds during free time. We won’t jam pack it with too much organised activities as we know how important weekends are to relax.
Linen will be provided. Best to bring your own beach towel if you plan on going for a swim.

Staff are prioritising going, so you’ll see familiar faces from the team and have a chance to get to know them better. If you’re in a community group, ask around to see who else is planning to join—many groups are coming together, so you’ll likely find some friendly faces to connect with. Plus, we’ll have plenty of opportunities for everyone to mix and get to know each other throughout the weekend! In addition we’ll have some time and activities to help you connect with others, like Saturday Night Compulsory Fun and Trivia with Olivia etc
You’ll be rooming with others from Vine Church. Families will stay together, and married couples can choose to share or split into single-gender rooms. If you’re coming on your own, we’ll place you with people of the same gender — it’s a great way to get to know others!
There is an option on the registration form to list 3 preferred friends to share a room with.

Located an hour south of Sydney’s CBD, The Tops Conference Centre is set on 200 acres of prime bushland in Stanwell Tops.
