Whether you’ve never stepped inside a church before, or you’re coming along with your child, our hope is that everyone has a good time and feels welcomed.
Our service will look much like a typical Sunday, with prayer, a talk from the Bible, and time together as a community. We’ll also take a moment to honour the men in our community who love and serve the next generation.
BBQ, Goodtimes + Gifts
You’re invited to stay after the service.
We’d love the chance to get to know you, and we’ve got some fun things planned to help you make the most of Father’s Day:
- Enjoy a gourmet BBQ cook-up featuring Thuringer Bratwurst
- Get competitive with a round of Velcro Football Darts
- As a small gesture of appreciation, every dad will receive a chocolate gift to take home.
Messages for Mum
Visit our “Messages for Mum” station and write your mum a card or a prayer. Choose from a selection of beautiful stationery and take a moment to honour her.
- Write a Card for your Mum: We’ll have envelopes and stamps ready. You’re welcome to leave it with us to post, or take it with you to give to her yourself.
- Write a prayer or share a request: Whether you’re celebrating, navigating a complicated relationship, or missing your mum. Our pastoral team would love to pray for you and/or your mum in the coming week.
Father’s Day is a great occasion, but we know it can also be complex—marked by gratitude for some and grief, longing, or pain for others.
Each of our lives has been shaped by a father or father figure in some way, and so this day touches all of us differently.
On the day, we’ll take a moment in our service to honour and pray for the men in our community, making space for every story—whether you’re a dad, hoping to become one, a spiritual father, grieving, in the thick of raising kids, or navigating a complicated relationship with your own father.
Wherever this day finds you, you’re not alone.
As a church, we want to gently point you to Jesus, who sees you, knows your story, and meets you with comfort, strength, and hope.

If Father’s Day feels full—whether with gratitude, loss, or a mix of both—we invite you to bring it all to God in prayer. He meets us with steady love.
