Maybe it’s your mum’s Mother’s Day wish that you’d come along with her to church. Maybe it’s your child’s invitation. Or maybe you’re here because this day feels a little heavier than most. Wherever you’re coming from, you are so welcome.

Whether you’ve never stepped inside a church before, or you’re coming along with your child, our hope is that everyone feels welcomed.
Our service will look much like a typical Sunday, with prayer, a talk from the Bible, and time together as a community. We’ll also take a moment to honour the women in our community who love and care for the next generation.

You’re invited to stay after the service.
We’d love the chance to get to know you, and we’ve got some lovely things planned to help you make the most of Mother’s Day:
- Take a photo with your mum or for your mum at our photo booth
- Enjoy a tea or coffee and some delicious cakes from one of the local patisseries.
- As a small gesture of appreciation, every mum will receive a chocolate gift to take home.
Messages for Mum
Visit our “Messages for Mum” station and write your mum a card or a prayer. Choose from a selection of beautiful stationery and take a moment to honour her.
- Write a Card for your Mum: We’ll have envelopes and stamps ready. You’re welcome to leave it with us to post, or take it with you to give to her yourself.
- Write a prayer or share a request: Whether you’re celebrating, navigating a complicated relationship, or missing your mum. Our pastoral team would love to pray for you and/or your mum in the coming week.
Mother’s Day is a beautiful occasion, but we know it can also be complex—held with joy for some and grief, longing, or pain for others.
Each of our lives began with a mum, and so this day touches all of us in different ways.
On the day, we’ll take a moment in our service to honour and pray for all women, making space for every story—whether you’re a mum, longing to be a mum, a spiritual mother, grieving, in the thick of raising children, or navigating a complicated relationship.
Wherever this day finds you, you’re not alone.
As a church, we want to gently point you to the Jesus who sees you, knows your story, and meets you with comfort, strength, and hope.

If Mother’s Day feels full, whether with joy, ache, or a mix of both, we invite you to bring all of it to God in prayer, who meets you with steady love.
